Back to Gardens Back to Gardens Back to Gardens Turner - Church View
As well as having a fine backdrop of chalk cliffs and a view of the local church this garden sloped, had thick tacky clay, and poor drainage.

Using the slope, the garden was split into three areas.  On higher ground large raised beds were created.  These were lushly planted and house a small pool and spill channel.  Cut into the slope on a second level is a lawn area and a pond fed from the small pool above.  On the lowest level raised decks provide a sheltered place to eat and relax and are accessed through a sturdy timber pergola threaded with thick copper piping.

Drainage has been installed on each level to ensure a fast flow of constant water through the garden.
